If your favorite new momma-to-be is like most, she has her hands full readying for the upcoming birth. I know I did. Since only God knows when He’ll send this tiny miracle, it’s best to be ready ahead of time. Pamper that mama by being the best baby shower attendee ever!
Help her out: Do her baby laundry.
Yep, it’s that simple. If you’re gifting her sweet dainty dresses and one-of-a-kind onesies that will evoke “ooohs” and “awwws” as she unwraps your gracious gift, do that special mama the favor of pre-washing and/or pressing the clothing (blankets, towels, etc.) first. I cannot tell you how much time this will save a mom-to-be. I spent many hours organizing baby clothing, snipping off tags, laundering & folding. . .
So you’re not giving her clothing. . .
Please offer your laundry services after the shower anyway. It will be a big relief to her, promise. Collect all the new lovely linens & clothing and take them home to launder and fold. Be sure to ask her detergent preference too, just in case. She’ll be all smiles when you return with a fresh-smelling basket of baby wares.
What are you waiting for? To the laundry room. STAT!
