Ladies, I don’t know about you, but this video really struck a chord with me.
How is it that we, preciously made children in whom God delights (Isaiah 62:4,) should have such negative opinions of ourselves? Check out the video and catch a glimpse of how women often unconsciously portray themselves. Then take a look in the mirror, get quiet and allow the Lord pour out his abundant love over you.
The last couple of weeks I’ve been reading an inspiring devotional by Ruth Myers, called The Satisfied Heart: 31 Days of Experiencing God’s Love. It’s full of Biblical truths & wisdom regarding how the Lord looks at us and how incredibly vast his love is for us. Ruth Myers lived through the tragic loss of her husband at a young age. She talks about being a widow with young kids, and bares her soul as she shares the comforting words the Lord has spoken to her throughout her walk with Christ.
If you’re looking for some good quiet time material, I’d highly recommend this book, and at about 4 minutes per daily devo, it doesn’t require a big time commitment.
