To be honest, Autumn has never been my thing. I prefer green trees sprinkled with blossoms, warm sunshine, and magenta toenails peeking out from my sandals. Costa Rica‘s weather is just fine with me.
Although my kids may not see snow until they’re five, I want them to learn about the four seasons in fun, tactile ways. These creative fall activities for kids are educational, original, and jam-packed with autumn fun!

Love all the things you have listed. Autumn scented playdough sounds amazing – much better than the regular smell. I’ve never done cloud dough with my 2 1/2 either. That could be a fun experience.

I’ve also had cloud dough on my to-do list for awhile. Our tots will love it, I’m sure, so let’s get to playing! Doesn’t hurt that it smells amazing either, right? Thanks for visiting, Deanna.

Such great ideas! I took the kids on a nature walk a couple of weeks ago, along with some other homeschooled preschoolers, and one of the things we were planning to do with our leaves is the Crunchy Trees craft you mentioned above. But all my 4 year old wanted to do was have a “collection.” She was pretty insistent, so I just gave her a mason jar to keep all the leaves, feathers, and rocks she had found that day. Oh well…I tried to be crafty with the fall!

That’s cute. At least she has a memory jar to show her friends after the walk. I love to take my little girl for walks too. Her eyes light up every time she sees a dog 🙂

This was SO delicious!! I followed your exact recipe and I don’t think it was too thick at all. It was nice and creamy and the flavors were great! My husband ate two bowlfuls and wanted more. We had plenty for leftovers. Thanks–this is a keeper!
