Welcome to {Monday Mom Musings} link-up! I’m so excited you came to join the fun. Moms supporting moms is what Monday Mom Musings is all about.
This Monday, I’ve got the second edition of Infant Travel Essentials, a list of my favorite must-haves for travelling long-term with an infant. These baby essentials are based on my own experience living away from home for 6 weeks in Italy. If you missed part one, read it here. Hope this list of helpful supplies makes your next trip go swimmingly.
Food Service

No, I don’t mean your friendly hairnet-clad lunch lady. I’m talking bottles, cups, spoons and the like. Do yourself a favor and pack as few as you think you’ll need. And then take one out. We took 2 spoons and never used one of them. Bottles and breast pump never saw the light of day outside the suitcase either.
Storage Containers
Tupperware saved the day for me. We took one small plastic food storage container to store Summer Elizabeth’s homemade baby food and used it for it’s intended purpose and much more. A lifesaver!
Baby Food Mill

I’ve already declared my love for this low-tech space saver here.
First Aid Basics
Unless you’re heading to the Amazons, you’ll be able to pick up most first-aid essentials at a drugstore. However, it’s always wise to have a few items on hand. We took along a thermometer and a few other items for ourselves and praise God never needed anything more.

If travel is part of your lifestyle (which I know it is), you’ll find that wrangling the little ones into your routine isn’t nearly as tough as you might think. Thanks for visiting!
