If we were having coffee today, chances are I’d be at the laptop, fussing with CSS tweaks. JBJ is moving soon to WordPress and the learning curve is really time consuming and to be honest, a literal headache.
Goofiest screenshot ever? I’d vote yes.
Of course, I’d also be sure to tell you that Starbucks is opening *tomorrow* at the mall that’s set to open it’s doors this weekend super close to our house. To say I’m excited (about the coffee, not the mall) would be an understatement. My students have a “Days Until Starbucks” countdown on the whiteboard in my classroom.
You’d be privvy to a demo of my little girl’s new talent: nose-blowing imitation, complete with buzzing lips. I caught her holding a tissue to her nose, trumpeting her rosy lips beneath the white Kleenex, pretending to blow her nose like she sees her papi do so frequently. Giggles.
I’d also let you know that I was disappointed yesterday. We’ve been planning to move into our own little apartment this month. Yesterday we jam-packed our little blue KIA so full of boxes that I was almost surprised we didn’t stash one in the baby’s lap too. The plan was to drop off belongings at the new digs.
As we walked through the front door, the mess of moldings, dust, & power tools scattered about made it clear that our moving day is not as near as Mr. Landlord had originally promised. I toted a borrowed mini vacuum along, eager to clean up shop before unloading our goods, but only one room boasted a bare floor for sweeping. A little bummed about the circumstances, we did an about face and drove back to our temporary home again to unload the car and our frustrations.
How are you doing this week?

I know how important Starbucks can be:) I do my own countdown to when Pumpkin Spice Lattes are out. And I’ve done the switch from Blogger to WordPress and then to self-hosting. Craziness I say:)

WOW! you’re moving to WP! I am too, although I haven’t started tackling CSS yet. Do you have any resources you can share with me?
