My little Summerbeth is getting tall, and until this week, I had no way of stopping her.
Of course, there’s no way I’d really try to stunt her growth, but I did find a handy magnetic growth chart to track her height that is renter friendly. I’d envisioned perma wall-art type growth charts and the fun they’d be to DIY, but the truth of the matter is that our family just doesn’t stay in one place for long. Our yellow tape measure magnetic growth chart (unavailable online) is perfect for families who home hop a lot, and here are a few more kids’ growth charts also proven 100% renter friendly.

Great idea! Even though we’ll be staying in our house for quite a long time, I like the idea of a portable growth chart instead. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Jelli! Those are some great ideas for growth charts! I love the one with the tab pinned with date and weight…..so cute! We did a permanent growth chart on the door jam in my laundry room. One thing I also did, was I got a big jar and kept it on the shelf in my laundry room next to the soap. I raised 2 boys and each time I washed their jeans, shorts, etc…I emptied what was in their pockets…into the jar! So fun to look back on their ‘collection of important stuff’ over the years! Your daughter is beautiful. Enjoy her! My baby is graduating college the day after tomorrow. Time flies! You have a really lovely blog. : )

Thank you so much, Anne, for your kind words. What a fun way to watch your kids’ interests change as they grow up by emptying the pockets into a jar. Love that idea! When I was a teenager & doing family laundry, my policy was to go through pockets keeping any money or coins I found. That was also pretty enjoyable 🙂
