Who doesn’t like a clutter-free home with space to breathe? For most moms, it’s hard to find time to deep-clean the house with littles around. Thankfully, 5 minutes is all you’ll need to clean out the clutter with these quick purges. You can even chuck the “stuff” while you’re waiting for a pot to boil, it’s so fast!
We all have a few items lurking around the house that we can definitely afford to lose that are expired/never used/forgotten, just taking up storage space. These painless purges you’ll never miss. Choose a category and take five minutes to clean out & purge your home of these common accumulations:
Bags & Purses
Household Cleaners
Fix-it piles
Kitchen utensils
Makeup
Perfumes
Shoes
Happy decluttering!

I love the Flylady strategy for that reason! Just set a timer for however many minutes you want, select a spot and then go for it!

I tend to clean in small spurts like this, but purging a little at a time makes even more sense because they less you have, the less you have to clean.
I cleaned out my purse the other day (and you’re right it only took a few minutes) and it felt great. I had receipts in there from months ago. Now all I carry in my purse is my wallet, phone, keys, and a small packet of tissues. It’s so much lighter and easier to find everything.

I love this post!! we are currently living in a TINY space and can only do it after majorly cutting back to just the essentials (like just one purse).
