Savvy Study Essential Your Kids Already Know About

October 27, 2015 By Jelli 9 Comments

Discover the best kept secret to highlighting your Bible (and pretty much any other book) right inside your child’s art box!

Bible study must haves! I’ve tried Bible highlighter pencils, typical highlighting markers, and plain ‘ole graphite pencils, but making a “LOOK AT ME” highlight in my Bible used to be a pain. Highlighter pencils never pumped out enough color and the lead tended to crack and break when I sharpened them. Office highlighters seeped through my pages, and pencils were too dull to really make an impact.

Perfect Bible highlighters- Crayola Twistables Crayons

Enter Crayola Twistables Crayons, your new book highlighting bestie.

Yes, these are marketed as crayons, but the lovely little gems work wonders to highlight in the pages of your books too. They’re vibrant and brightly pigmented yet won’t show through on the back side of your pages. They infinitely sharp, since you just twist up more color as you need it. They come in multi-packs of lush colors so you can categorize your highlights accordingly.

What a super great idea! I actually do like the Bible highlighters you can get at the Bible bookstores, but they are expensive! At least this way I can buy a pack of these crayons and I know they will be put to good use by my kids as well. Thanks for sharing!

Was not aware of these crayons. I can certainly relate to the highlight bleed-thru on the bible pages. I am going to have to check into these.

I sure wish I’d known about it years ago! In fact, I was sitting in a women’s conference when the speaker rose from her chair, spilling the contents of her Bible cover all over the floor- including Crayola Twistables. That’s how I found out about these genius little highlighting tools.

This is SUCH a great idea! I love to highlight verses as I read but hate it when it bleeds through the pages. I’m going to have to try this!

This is such a great idea! I love the vibrant colors and that they won’t show through the back side of your pages 🙂
