When you’re in a rush, it’s important to be able to find your keys fast. You know the scene. You arrive home with a carload of groceries and a baby that’s eager for her next meal. Weighted down with shopping bags and a sticky toddler hand in yours, you dig deep into your purse aiming for the house key. You pull out a wad of keys, and sling them one after the other around the keychain haphazardly trying to find the front door key.
Make it easy to find the key you’re looking for. Paint your keys. 
I’ve used nail polish to paint my keys since high school. It makes finding the right one quick and easy, especially when it’s getting dark. Be sure choose a mixture of vibrant colors to make deciphering the key ring easier. A rainbow of fluorescent glow-in-the-darks would probably be the ideal, but unless you’ve got a thirteen year-old on your hands, it’s not likely you’ve got those colors around. Make the best of what you’ve got and get to painting! Five minutes now will save you tons of frustration in the future. Just a helpful tip from one lady to another.

I agree! I love having glittery colorful keys hanging from my keychain. In fact, one of mine just got replaced. We’ll see what color that one winds up!
