Summer Elizabeth loves playing outdoors. If our neighbor’s chow chows didn’t leave so many “gifts” in our yard, I’d let my daughter hang out there more often. For now, she’s a sidewalk dweller, a street artist in miniature. She can’t get enough of her sidewalk chalk. Bright sparkling glitter chalk embellishes our walkway, glistening in the sun, breaking up the monotony of the grey concrete. Our walk-worn sneakers track it inside the front doorway, leaving telltale glitter scattered through the house. I don’t mind at all. Evidence that we have fun and enjoy our days. My girl’s an artist.

I do too, Fran! Art activities with my little girl are just as fun for me as they are for her. Thanks for stopping by this weekend.

How adorable! Such a activity for kiddos. We should do this more often at our house. And I confess I love it as much as they do! 🙂
