Welcome to {Monday Mom Musings} link-up! I’m so excited you came to join the fun. Moms supporting moms is what Monday Mom Musings is all about.
*Mamas, don’t forget to enter The Adopt Shoppe giveaway, ending soon!
This Monday, the lovely & oh-so-witty Megan from Absolute Mommy is joining us as co-hostess! Be sure to stop by and say hello. Follow her too. She’s just too fun not to!
I’m a stay at home mamma taking a chance on myself and my writing.
I’m going to be honest about motherhood, parenting, and life.
I’m going to be sarcastic, sometimes funny and always genuine.
So join me on my journey of rediscovering that
woman formerly known as Megan,
who is now exclusively Mommy.

And now for my own submission…..
My baby food mill is a quarter century old. A friend found it hiding amid the dark shadows in the back of her cupboard and graciously offered it to us. At the time, babies were only a daydream we’d hoped to make a reality. I {heart} my baby food mill.
Time: One and a half years later (circa April 2012)
Place: Our kitchen, Francavilla del Mare, Italy
Occasion: Baby’s First “Real” Meal (pumpkin)
THE “Gadget:” Baby Food Mill
*Starring role*: Summer Elizabeth
One of my best packing decisions in our trans-Atlantic voyage was including the baby food mill. We relied solely on this “must have” device for each and every one of our baby’s meals (excluding a crazy-messy-fun bananas on the beach picnic.)
Why I {heart} my baby food mill:
- Compact for easy transport & storage.
- Low-tech. No need for electricity or converters.
- 3 parts. No tiny screws or blades to get lost.
- Super economical. (Less than $15!)
- Easy to use. Dummyproof, fast, quick, sencillo, practical.
My Amazon Picks:
Kidco; Less than $5!
Munchkin $10
Green Sprouts $12
Now it’s your turn! Please join me and link up your {Monday Mom Musings} ; anecdotes, game & activity ideas, gems of wisdom, crafts, recent triumphs, or anything else that you’ve learned or would like to share with us this week about parenting.
