Yesterday we travelled more than 22 hours, through 3 airports, many a line and layover from Rome to San José, Costa Rica. I thought I’d packed the toothbrushes in the carry-on so that at least our breath could stay somewhat fresh on the journey, but nope. Forgotten.
One thing I could do to save my sanity after hours had passed, when I felt like a living microbiological germ sample was to blot the shine from my tired little face.
What do I use to control shine when I’m on-the-go?
Toilet seat covers.
Yep! Those thin little paper covers that most airport restrooms stock, work just as well as the best drugstore oil-absorbing sheet for zero cost. Well, except the price of an airline ticket, that is.
