Send your kids back to school with the best snack ever, chewy sweet tart no-bake white chocolate cherry granola bars! What’s so special about these homemade granola bars?
They taste like Rice Krispies treats!
Ever wonder how to make granola bars? This no bake granola bar recipe is chewy and irresistible because it combines lots of butter and brown sugar, boiled on the stove top for just a couple of minutes and then stirred into a hearty combination of oats, Rice Krispies cereal, coconut flakes, dried cherries and white chocolate chips.
Boiled butter and brown sugar tastes like homemade caramels. YUM!
That’s what makes this granola bar recipe absolutely my favorite ever. And I’ve made lots of granola bars.
Each granola bar is packed with chewy cherry bits, sweet vanilla white chocolate chip chunks, and the caramel flavor that sends me right over the edge… of the pan to grab another granola bar!
BONUS: You can put these no bake homemade granola bars together in less than five minutes! I recently made these for 100 people and it took less than 30 minutes. So super simple. So totally worth it.
Pack these in your kids lunch boxes. Pack these granola bars in your purse. In your briefcase. In your diaper bag. In your mouth!!
- 2 cups oatmeal (quick or rolled)

Thank you, Georgia. You know, these are my first no-bake granola bars and since the effort is so minimal, I’ll probably never go back to the baked version again. Hope you give them a try soon.

Jazelle, thanks so much! No-bake are all the rage come summertime when nobody wants to turn on their oven and heat up the house. Hope you give these granola bars a try and maybe throw in a few personal touches as well. M&Ms, anyone? 🙂

It’s pretty incredible pumping out dozens of bars in such record times, I agree! Not that I may ever need to do it again, but these bars are incredible and we really can’t get enough of them. Your kids will SMILE when you stir these up. Thanks for taking a moment out of your busy day to stop by, Allie!

These bars look incredible! I love the white chocolate cherry combo and no bake is perfect since it’s been so hot here and I don’t have to turn on the oven. Wow, so impressed you made 100 of these in 30 minutes too! 🙂 Pinning 🙂
Thanks so much for pinning, Kelly! It was no chore at all to make loads of these bars. If they’d been the traditional baked version, then it definitely would’ve taken more time. Hope you give them a whirl sometime soon.
well the way i see it – anything with chocolate in it 😀
Now, that’s what I’m talking about, Andi! I can see that we’d be very good friends over a big slice of CHOCOLATE cake!
