Oh hey girl! We have the same camera AND lens! Congratulations on getting your camera! I’m SO excited for you and SO excited to see all the beautiful pictures you take with it. Now sit down with that bunch of bananas and learn some manual!

I’ve downloaded the manual, but haven’t gotten too far yet. My mother-in-law will be visiting in about 2 weeks and will be bringing the camera with her, so I’ll finally get to test it out as I read the manual. Thanks for visiting!

I wish I was not so sewing challenge so that I could make one of these nifty and cute camera bags! 😉 Maybe I can bribe my mama into helping me? lol! I remember Lisa from Wine & Glue having a tutorial for a DIY camera bag too- http://www.wineandglue.com/2012/11/diy-purse-camera-bag-tutorial.html

A couple of these are no-sew, which is great for people like us who just plain can’t 🙂 I actually made a bag from one of these tutorials this week, stitching it by hand. It can be done, but isn’t any small effort. Thanks for visiting, Carrie!

Go for it! I actually made one this week stitching it all by hand. It took a few more hours than if I’d had a machine, but was well worth the effort and savings.

The camera looks beautiful. I can imagine it’s heavy and needs a good bag.

They’re actually fairly lightweight despite the looks. This one weighs about half a kilo, or somewhere around a pound. Not too bad, I guess.

What a great looking bag (and camera)! I mainly use my phone, otherwise I just have a simple point and shoot. If I ever upgrade, I’ll keep this in mind.

How exciting to get a camera bag for Christmas! I’m curious, what kind is yours and what do you love about it? I’ve got a JoTotes and am quite smitten but always curious about the other ones out there.

hmmm you know I don’t remember what kind it is, I know it was from a list of a few I liked on etsy…. It’s a dark salmon and white chevron pattern and has a matching strap for the camera. It fits my camera, two extra lens and my flash as well as my business cards and extra cards and batteries. It’s great. The outer shell is canvas so I can wash it when I want too. There are so many options out there.
