Cranberry White Chocolate Scones

March 2, 2015 By Jelli 1 Comment

Cranberry white chocolate scones are a great addition to your lazy day weekend brunch. Okay, to be honest, I’d scarf down a couple of these easy buttery scones just about any day with a hot cup of peach tea and a dollop of sweetened whipped cream.cranberry white chocolate scones | jellibeanjournals.com

This easy scones recipe came to me from an unlikely source- university dorms. While most of us acquaint college students as gobbling down ramen noodles at noon and pints of ice cream at midnight, I really did learn to cook in university. And my husband’s pretty happy about it too 🙂

Anyway, these scones came from a recipe given to me during an elective called “Luscious Lit” where we read all kinds of cultural pieces then joined together Tuesday evenings to whip up a related recipe. Of course, it’s been a few years since then so I have absolutely no clue what the scones recipe was related to, but I sure can tell you that this fruit scones recipe stood the test of time. It’s my absolute favorite, even topping Nigella’s scones.

Head over to Live.Laugh.Rowe this instant to snag my full recipe and bake up a quick batch of scones this afternoon! You deserve it.

Fun! That sounds like a class I would love to take! And I have never made scones before, but these look delicious!
