Toddler Smoothie Cup // MBM

July 24, 2013 By Jelli 9 Comments

Has your toddler all but destroyed his silicone-lidded sippy cups? Or is it just my kid? If you’ve got a spilly, puddle-creating sippy cup in your cabinet, make good use of it by deeming it a smoothie cup.

Traditional sippy cups often have too narrow an opening for thicker liquids to flow through. My daughter’s silicone-spouted Tupperware sippy cup definitely doesn’t have a tiny opening anymore, after she’s poked her curious little fingers through it time after time, but she did create a perfectly sized opening for our favorite breakfast smoothie to stream through.toddler-sippy-cup-color

Bottom line: don’t toss that sippy cup, convert it!

Love the idea of reusing well-used sippy cups for smoothies. Molly loves poking her fingers through the enlarged holes too!
    PS- Thanks for the link-up!

What about the sippy cups they’ve destroyed to the point that even water has a hard time coming through?! Ugh. So frustrating.

Hmm. I guess those cups are better stashed in the cupboard until they become plain old drinking cups and you just toss the lids.
